I am contacting you to seek your assistance for the distribution of a message to the CFLA members concerning the application deadline for the Young Canada Works programme.
The application deadline for the submission of applications for summer employment projects is January 15th. We will be sending a reminder to members of the library community (operating in English) who have benefitted from the programme this year, but it would greatly appreciated if you could help us.

The Young Canada Works 2020 under way!
The Canadian Council of Archives is pleased to announce that the 2020 campaign for the program Young Canada Works (YCW) in Heritage Organizations is underway. This program is funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage in support of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy.
Libraries operating in English are now able to apply online for both summer projects and internships via the YCW official web site. Please note, the YCW website has not yet been updated by Canadian Heritage but it will be soon.
Please visit CCA’s web site (http://www.archivescanada.ca/YCW) for more information as well as the link to the program’s application forms found on the YCW website (https://young-canada-works.canada.ca/).
IMPORTANT:
The application deadline for the summer projects is January 15, 2020.
The application deadline for the internships is March 1st, 2020.

La campagne Jeunesse Canada au travail 2020!
Le Conseil canadien des archives est heureux d’annoncer que la campagne 2020 du programme Jeunesse Canada au travail (JCT) pour les organismes du patrimoine est maintenant lancée. Ce programme est financé par le ministère du Patrimoine canadien (PCH) et appuie la Stratégie emploi et compétences jeunesse du Canada.
Les bibliothèques œuvrant en anglais peuvent compléter sur le site officiel JCT leurs demandes pour des projets d’été ainsi que pour des stages. Veuillez noter que Patrimoine canadien n’a pas encore mis à jour le site Web de JCT, mais ce sera fait bientôt.
