We are excited to share that Ontario will be the first-ever Canadian province to roll out Edge 2.0!
Edge is a management tool that helps libraries of all sizes benchmark their technology infrastructure in an effort to highlight areas of excellence as well as areas requiring improvements, and will align technology resources to community priorities.
Your library’s participation in Edge will help assess your technology, communicate its impact and plan for the future – all in an effort to build more resilient communities.
Edge 2.0 complements the service that Toronto Public Library is providing through the Bridge project. Edge benchmarks technology infrastructure by peer groups, while the Bridge toolkit measures customer outcomes resulting from the availability of technology services. When presented together, libraries can better respond to community needs.
To start your free subscription:
- Register your library at platform.libraryedge.org Please check your SPAM if you do not receive confirmation.
- Download the Assessment Workbook. Assessment responses are saved in the system as you go.
- Libraries will be able to print out their completed assessment report. Peer comparison reports will be shared with libraries when the Edge Representative Sample is complete.
