As you may have already heard, proposed Bill 28 in Alberta has raised concerns for libraries nation-wide. I am forwarding an email from the CFLA which includes links to letter templates created in partnership with the Coalition of Alberta Public Libraries. FOPL has also issued a statement supporting CULC, the CFLA and the Coalition of Alberta Public Libraries, calling for the continued protection of Canadian Public Libraries as it pertains to Intellectual Freedom. The full statement can be read here.
