Bringing the threads together
FOPL’s advocacy series completes its run before OLA Super Conference

We have enjoyed a very successful series of free FOPL webinars and teleconferences through the Fall and Winter of 2013 focused on influence and advocacy skills and strategies. The recordings of these nine events are available to all in the archive on the FOPL members site.

To cap it off, all FOPL members are invited to the free capstone event (registration required):

Date: Jan. 28, 2014
Time: 12:30 registration
Workshop: 1 pm – 4:30 pm
Location: North York Central Library
Room: Room 1
Address: 5120 Yonge Street (North York Subway Station)

At this participative and interactive workshop, Stephen Abram will start us off by presenting an advocacy model in detail for a single public library issue. This will for the basis for building, in smaller groups, strategies for other library issues around branding, positioning, value and impact. As with the rest of the series, we will build tools that can be polished and shared and base them in research. We will be able to create a foundation for messaging the value of public libraries in Ontario during the upcoming 2014 elections and beyond. Please join us and participate in building strategies for success.

**Please note there is still time to register
