The Art of Book Reviewing

NOVEMBER  30
TORONTO

Sam Tanenhaus, the former editor of The New York Times Book Review and a visiting professor at the University of Toronto this fall, will moderate a discussion on the art of the book review with Jennifer Szalai, nonfiction book critic at The Times and a University of Toronto alumna, and Randy Boyagoda, a longtime contributor to The Times Book Review and a University of Toronto English professor. Curious readers, authors and bibliophiles alike will appreciate hearing from the experts on the art of writing reviews.

Catherine Porter, New York Times Canada bureau chief, based in Toronto, will introduce the panel.
