On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Lorisia MacLeod to the CFLA-FCAB Board as the Indigenous Ancestry representative. Lorisia is a proud member of the James Smith Cree Nation and is currently the Online Reference Centre and Discovery Link Coordinator at the Alberta Library. Her term will begin immediately and conclude at the AGM in February 2023. Lorisia brings an impressive resume of engagement within the Indigenous library community, including as a long-standing member of CFLA’s Indigenous Matters Committee. We look forward to her contributions as a member of the Board.
De la part du Conseil d’administration, il me fait plaisir d’annoncer la nomination de Lorisia MacLeod au sein du Conseil d’administration de la FCAB-CFLA en tant que représentante d’ascendance autochtone. Lorisia est membre fière de la Nation crie James-Smith et elle est maintenant Coordinatrice du Centre de référence virtuelle et du Lien de découverte chez la Alberta Library.
