NATIONAL RELEASE – After an extensive national search the Centre for Equitable library Access (CELA) is pleased to formally announce Michael Ciccone of Burlington, ON as the new Executive Director of CELA effective January 1, 2015.
CELA Board Chair Catherine Biss noted that “Michael is an innovative library leader. His expertise in collection development and collaborative approach will ensure CELA continues the tradition of collections excellence established by our professional colleagues at the CNIB Library, but now – as part of this historic transition to CELA – with public library leadership and oversight.”
