Please share the Welcome to Toronto Public Library event flyer (attached) widely.

Toronto Public Library welcomes our newest refugee families to Toronto. A specially planned  welcome event will take place on the evening of Tuesday, April 5, 6-8 p.m. at North York Central Library’s Concourse Level. The program will be offered in English and Arabic. Families can sign up for library cards at the event!

The evening will feature:

  • Musical performances
  • Toronto Public Library Presentation and Children’s Story Time
  • Information Fair

Interested families can register to attend via Eventbrite or by calling 416-395-5674. Space is limited. Please see the attached flyer for the event.

Toronto Public Library is pleased to work with the Aga Khan Museum in co-presenting the musical component of the program. The Aga Khan Museum is one of the participating partners for the SunLife Financial Museum + Art Passes. The Museum offers a window into the artistic, intellectual, and scientific heritage of Muslim civilizations across the centuries from the Iberian Peninsula to China. It also aims to foster dialogue and connect cultures through the arts.

Thank you.
