From: “jmatthewman@tsa.ca” <jmatthewman@tsa.ca> HOUSE FINANCE COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES NEXT STEPS IN ITS 2019 PRE-BUDGET CONSULTATIONS PROCESS Ottawa, September 11, 2018 – Today, the Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance, the Honourable Wayne Easter, P.C., M.P., announced the Committee’s hearing schedule as it continues its consultations in advance of the 2019 federal budget. The weeks of 1 and 15 October, hearings will be held across Canada in accordance with the following schedule: 1 October: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island 2 October: Saint John, New Brunswick 3 October: Québec City, Quebec 4 October: Oshawa, Ontario 5 October: Toronto, Ontario 15 October: Whitehorse, Yukon 16 October: Victoria, British Columbia 17 October: Edmonton, Alberta 18 October: Winnipeg, Manitoba. We invite you to briefly share your views on budgetary priorities, and will hear those that arrive on a first-come, first-served basis.
