Sarah currently serves as the CEO and Chief Librarian of Milton Public Library, where she leads one of Canada’s fastest-growing and most innovative library systems. With over 25 years of municipal leadership experience, she brings deep expertise in strategic planning, facility development, programming, and public service delivery—skills that have positioned her as a visionary in the library sector.
A collaborative and strategic leader, Sarah is passionate about the power of libraries to unlock potential, foster belonging, and strengthen communities. Since joining MPL, she has championed the development and implementation of the library’s 2023–2027 Strategic Plan, focused on four key priorities: Telling Our Story, Building Strong Infrastructure, Creating a Robust & Resilient Organization, and Delivering Quality Services.
Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to positioning public libraries as essential, future-ready institutions that meet the evolving needs of their communities.
