The 2018 Elections are Here.
Be a Voice for Ontario’s Libraries.
The 2018 Ontario Provincial (June 7th) and Municipal (October 22nd) elections are a critical opportunity for Ontario’s Library sector to engage with candidates to demonstrate the extensive value that today’s public, school and First Nations libraries provide in communities large and small across Ontario.
Throughout the year, we will need you to share your voice and local perspective to make sure that all candidates and parties understand the vital role of libraries for lifelong learning, community economic development and poverty reduction – and the importance of modernized, sustainable funding to respond to the changing needs of residents, students & local communities.
