Dear CFLA-FCAB members,
On behalf of the CFLA-FCAB Board, I am very pleased to send you this Paper summarizing the proceedings and discussions at our first National Forum held in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Library Association conference in Regina, SK on May 2, 2018.
We had over 150 participants attend in person, and many more through our Facebook Live feed and through our online feedback form contributing to the discussion and helping to form the outcomes and recommendations for the library community to consider moving forward.
I want to thank all of the speakers, moderators, and participants for making this inaugural Forum such a success.
We do not consider this Paper as an end goal, but rather to be the beginning of future conversations.

Chers/Chères membres de la FCAB-CFLA,
Au nom du conseil d’administration de la FCAB-CFLA, je suis très heureux de vous envoyer ce document résumant les délibérations et les discussions tenues lors de notre premier forum national organisé conjointement avec la Saskatchewan Library Association à Regina, en Saskatchewan, le 2 mai 2018.
Il y a plus de 150 participants qui ont assisté en personne, et beaucoup d’autres grâce à notre fil Facebook Live et à notre formulaire de commentaires en ligne qui ont contribué à la discussion et ont aidé à former les résultats et les recommandations pour être envisager par la communauté des bibliothèques.
Je tiens à remercier tous les conférenciers, les modérateurs(trices) et les participants pour le grand succès de ce forum inaugural.
Nous ne considérons pas ce document comme une fin bût, mais plutôt comme un départ pour les conversations futures.
