Mark your calendars! June 21-22-23, 2021

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is hosting its third LAC Forum with University Partners on the theme of Memory Institutions as Equitable, Diverse and Inclusive Places.

This virtual event will bring together LAC’s university partners and a wide range of participants, including students, college and university faculty and researchers, librarians and archivists, civil servants, and information management professionals. The event will also be open to the public.

The forum will provide an opportunity to discuss the issue of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) from a variety of perspectives. The event is intended to be a platform for the exchange of knowledge and expertise on innovative practices, projects and initiatives. It also aims to address current EDI issues for the gallery, library, archive and museum (GLAM) sector.

Registration for the event is free and will take place online. More information will follow. The forum program will be posted on LAC website in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
