Library Impact Ontario is excited to announce the launch of its 2025 service plan, offering enhanced services at no cost to all Ontario public libraries. With valuable feedback from libraries across the province, significant improvements have been made to ensure that the services are more responsive, accessible, and better aligned with the diverse needs of the library community.
Starting today, libraries can take advantage of the upgraded Bridge platform and the new Data Literacy, Learning, and Support training portal, designed to strengthen data-driven decision-making and enhance library impact.
Choose the Bridge Version That Fits Your Library
Two versions of Bridge are now available to better serve libraries’ needs:
- Bridge Standard (NEW): Ideal for small to medium-sized libraries, featuring streamlined surveys and simplified key reports.
- Bridge Pro (OPTIONAL): Perfect for medium to large-sized libraries, offering advanced features such as customizable surveys, equity-focused reports, flat file downloads, and more frequent data collection options.
NEW Data Literacy, Learning, and Support Portal
The new Data Literacy, Learning, and Support portal offers tools and resources to help library staff build data confidence and access ongoing support. Access is completely FREE, regardless of whether libraries use Bridge, and they can choose to use the portal independently or in tandem with Bridge.
Key features include:
- Data Literacy: On-demand professional development training to help library staff make confident, data-driven decisions, with access to webinars on business skills, technology, and data.
- Lunch N’ Learn: Virtual webinars focused on optimizing Bridge usage and leveraging data effectively while building peer connections.
- Support: A resource library and office hours for seamless onboarding.
