Orillia Public Library begins new chapter with a new CEO

The Board of the Orillia Public Library is delighted to announce that Bessie Sullivan will be joining the library as the new CEO effective June 21, 2021.

Kelly Seymour, Board Chair of the Orillia Public Library stated: “We are indeed looking forward to welcoming Ms. Sullivan as we implement our newly completed Service Review led by present CEO, Suzanne Campbell. Ms. Campbell will be retiring at the end of June after ten years as the CEO of the Library. She will certainly be missed and we all wish her well in her retirement.”

Sullivan joins our Library with a wealth of experience. She has been the CEO of the Haliburton County Public Library since 2009. As CEO she oversaw seven branches located throughout the County of Haliburton.
