Connecting Northern Ontario’s research and education community
Connectivity is the key to unlocking economic potential in Northern Ontario. Many areas in Northern Ontario lack the high-speed broadband connectivity enjoyed by most in the province. This lack of connectivity affects access to health care, social services, employment as well as research and education opportunities. High-speed broadband is essential for growth in Northern Ontario and research and education networks have a role to play in regional development.
ORION is pleased to release “Connecting Northern Ontario’s Research and Education Community”, a report outlining recommendations on how to proceed as well as challenges to overcome.
