On Tuesday Jan. 13th, 2018, the Ottawa Public Library Board received OPL’s response to CFLA’s report on the TRC Calls to Action. It was received on consent, with direction to staff to develop a Board Position Statement on Indigenous Services, as well as look into land acknowledgement protocols.
The report received some media attention. Monique E. Désormeaux, Deputy CEO / Directrice générale adjointe, was interviewed for the local CBC Radio drive home show. I’ve provided a link in case you wanted to give a listen.
