Annual Survey of Public Libraries

The Annual Survey of Public Libraries is a requirement as part of the process to receive provincial library funding.   Whether this is your first time completing the survey, or you want a refresher, join SOLS’ Peggy Malcolm for this free webinar!  We will go through the annual survey document, answer frequently asked questions, and give you tips for completing the survey.

Our Presenter: Peggy Malcolm has worked for the Southern Ontario Library Service since 1991. She was originally hired to write EXCEL courses and to write the Sourcebook for Small Public Libraries publications. Peggy provides general consulting to libraries in the Hastings, Northumberland, Prince Edward, Addington Highlands and Peterborough areas, work which continues to the present. Since 2000, Peggy has managed the TD Summer Reading program for SOLS, and for a time, she was also responsible for training workshops and the SOLS-administered “Pools”. She is the SOLS representative on the Ontario Public Library Guidelines Council, which recently released the sixth edition of the Ontario Public Library Guidelines for municipal and county libraries, and coordinates accreditation audits for libraries in southern Ontario.
