Please join us in welcoming Jodie Player Delgado as our new Small/Medium Caucus Representative. Jodie is the CEO of Springwater Township Public Library. She has worked as a Teacher-Librarian and Children’s Librarian in the Florida Keys and is happy to be back in her hometown of Elmvale, although she is not a huge fan of winter. She became a dyslexia advocate when her son was diagnosed, and is an advocate for early literacy and Freedom to Read. She has a Master’s of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University and her Honours Bachelor of Arts in History from Queen’s University, as well as her American Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She can be bribed with dark chocolate, and loves to scrapbook and read Canadian history books, which her staff thinks is very boring.
