What the new report on Grants Ontario means for nonprofits

“New report from the Auditor General of Ontario
On December 4, the Auditor General of Ontario released an “Expanded Annual Report Focuses on Health and Safety of Ontarians, Corrections and Justice System, and on the Environment.” The report includes a chapter on the Grants Ontario portal (now Transfer Payment Ontario, or TPON). The four-volume set criticizes the new Made-in-Ontario Environment Plan for not being adequate to meet its own emission targets, the wait times for addictions treatment, the sub-standard food quality at long-term care homes, enforcement of workplace health and safety, and rising costs in the Ontario Disability Support Program.
