Motion:

That the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries AGM Agenda of February 1^st, 2018 be approved as circulated and described in the Notice of AGM

 

5. Approval of AGM minutes – Feb. 2, 2017 *                                                 Merritt

Motion:

That the FOPL AGM minutes of Feb. 2, 2017 be approved as circulated

That the report of the FOPL 2017 chair be received

 

 

7. Executive Director’s Report *                 Abram

Motion:

 That the 2017 report of the FOPL executive Director be received as circulated

 

8. Treasurer’s Report *                 Greco

Motion:

That the Audited Financial Statements and Auditor’s Report for the fiscal year ending October 31, 2017 be received as circulated;

Motion:

That the firm BDC (formerly Geoff Crewe, Chartered Professional Accountant) be appointed to conduct and audit for the fiscal year ending October 31, 2018; and

Motion:

That the Federation’s budget for fiscal year 2018 be received as circulated.

 

9. Confirmation of acts of directors and             Merritt

Motion:

That all acts, contacts, by-laws, proceedings, appointments, elections and payments, enacted, made, done and taken in good faith by the directors and officers of the Federation to the date of this meeting, as the same are set out or referred to in the resolutions to the board of directors, the minutes of the meetings of the board of directors or in the financial statements of the federation, are approved, sanctioned and confirmed.

Northern Caucus – Sonya Doyle, Trustee, South River-Machar Union Public Library

Rural Caucus – Christina Noel-Blazecka, CEO, Cochrane Public Library

Small and Medium Caucus – Anand Date, Trustee, Whitchurch Stouffville Public Library
